Hello world.
A couple early morning updates from Big Once worldwide headquarters. First off, my THRE3STYLE REMIX PACK has been getting some HUGE love over the past couple weeks and I could not be happier. Check the posts on DJCITY.COM, DJ CITY JAPAN, BEEZO, DANTECHICAGO, and more. Also just found out that the almighty DJ Ayres of The Rub just included the track “Get Leveled” on his January Top 10 list. He also told me he dropped the track on NYE at Southpaw in Brooklyn, so that definitely rules.
A few new Jan and Feb shows have been added over at the CALENDAR section… Some highlights include The WBEZ Winter Block Party at the Metro, Kool Keith(!) at Reggie’s, The Meat Number 5 album release party, Dre Day 2012 at Double Door, Union Bar in Iowa City, IA and my debut at Segredo in Madison, WI. I will also be hitting the road in the spring for a series of secret shows… More on that later though.
Speaking of Meat Number 5, we are releasing our brand new 12-track album entitled “Low Flying Planes” Friday, Jan 27th at Subterranean with our homies from Face Melt. Our website is now fully launched as well. We will have copies of the new album for the show as well as DOPE new t-shirts designed by the always amazing Joey Potts. We’re definitely excited for the release of this album… you can peep a teaser video for one of our tracks here.
