Awwww yeah. For those that don’t know, aside from my club DJing thang I’m also one half of instrumental duo Meat Number 5 with producer/drummer Ricky Ropesack. We just put out a brand new record today, entitled The Upending EP. Peep the stupid hot promo video below, and grab the EP for free here!
So I posted this in the VIDEO section of the site last week but forgot to make a post about it. This video basically myself and the two dopest DJs in the Chi, DJ Trentino and Boi Jeanius. Jeanius does a weekly Ustream show and he invited myself and Trentino to come do our thang on 4 decks. The first hour or so is music from our weekly Pop Rocks and Coke party at Angels and Kings, and then we go off into some other ish. Electro, house, dubstep, crunk, and everything in between. Enjoy!
So as you may or may not have heard, every Thursday myself and DJ Trentino throw a crazy party at Angels & Kings in downtown Chi. The party is called Pop Rocks and Coke, and we play nothing but the biggest pop music of all time. Whether corny, dumb, cheesy, or super dope, we play it all, from all eras. Wanna hear Kenny Rogers mixed with Cali Swag District? U2 with Beyonce? Gary Glitter and Mike Posner? We got you.
But here’s what’s REALLY dope about this party. We mix all this ish on 4 turntables and 3 mixers. Live. On Stage. We juggle, mix, scratch, and blend better than anyone else. Thats real talk, as they say.

So I’m not even gonna write any kind of synopsis for this party, because its so dope I don’t feel up to the task of trying to describe its awesomeness.
